This highly portable spotting scope features a 45º viewing angle, high quality fully multi-coated optics, and a versatile zoom eyepiece with 18-55x magnification.
With this convenient adapter, you can now capture images and video instantly using your smartphone. Its solid yet lightweight frame lets you connect any smartphone device to the Ultima's zoom eyepiece, as well as to any eyepiece with a maximum outside diameter of 45 mm. This eyepiece provides an extra magnification boost for impressive views of wildlife and other natural targets, distant objects, and even the Moon at night! Installation involves simply clamping the adapter over the top of the eyepieces and takes only seconds. Your phone is then securely locked in place via tightening knobs. Keep in mind that some large or overly large phone cases (including folio style cases) may have to be taken off in order for the phone to fit in the adapter.
The zoom eyepiece integrated into the Ultima 65 Spotting Scope features an 18x to 55x magnification range. For landscape scanning, lower magnifications work best, while for a thorough, up-close look at smaller objects, a higher magnification is optimal. In addition to the zoom eyepiece, this spotting scope also features a large ergonomically designed rubber focus knob that is easy to turn even while donning gloves.
